You're So Busy, But Why Are You Still Broke?
"You're so busy… but why are you still broke?"

That was the hard truth my 1st millionaire mentor gave me when I first started my entrepreneurial journey.
It forced me to take a step back and look at how I was actually spending my time.
Like most people coming from a 9-5 background, I was used to being busy.
My calendar was full, meetings for my startup, deadlines, follow-ups with customers, emails, and family commitments.
But even with all that effort… I wasn’t gaining real traction in my business.
Here’s what I learned:
Being busy isn’t the same as being productive.
I was reacting to everything, trying to do it all.
But I wasn’t being intentional. I wasn’t building systems.
And most importantly, I wasn’t protecting time for growth.
That’s when my mentor asked me a simple but powerful question:
“If I looked at your Google Calendar, would I see your goals, or just your obligations?”
It changed how I approached my day.
Here’s what I started doing and what I recommend to every new entrepreneur:
1. Upload everything into Google Calendar
Stop keeping your schedule in your head.
Include your full day: meetings, rest, content time, family time, even downtime.

2. Take a screenshot of your week or month
It’s hard to improve what you can’t see clearly. I like to do this every single month for feedback as a founder.

3. Ask ChatGPT:
“Here’s my calendar. Can you analyze where my time is going, and suggest how to restructure it around my biggest goals?”
This gives you a clear breakdown of:
Time spent on product development vs working with manufacture, vs. marketing vs. growth, system building
What to delegate, automate, or eliminate
4. Assign a dollar value to your time
Ask yourself:
If my time was worth $100/hr, what would I stop doing?
At $500/hr, what would I only focus on?
For anything that is less than <$100/hr. I would prefer to outsource in order to spend more time with my loved ones; especially my elder mother since our parents time are running out and we never know when it's time for a goodbye( my dad passed away when I was 13, so I learnt it the hard way)Note: recent trip where I took my mother to Halong Bay, one of the 7th world wonder. Hope this inspire you toward success and start spending your life the way you always want!
Why this matters:
Most entrepreneurs who fail don’t fail because of a bad product or lack of motivation.
They fail because they mismanage their most limited resource: time.
If you want to grow, scale, or replace your 9-to-5, you have to think differently.
That starts with seeing your time like a CEO, not an employee.
